I know this is somewhat subjective, but we also must have our experience of faith, etc. ![]() I am slowly changing back to some kind of both historic and progressive form of Premillennialism & Dispensationalism. But I am now much closer to “biblical” theology, than “systematic” theology. I would call myself more classic Augustinian rather than Calvinist, though I too love to read Calvin, and good Calvin studies. (Went to the Nam, attached with some American Force Recon Marines, etc.) I also was later part of an Orthodox & Anglican dialogue group. I was raised Roman Catholic myself, I even went into the English Benedictine’s for a few years, way back in the 70’s, after my first tour with the RMC’s. Well we all have our journey if we are “In Christ”. I am still about 155lbs at 5’11! Still pushing it! lol I am also a rare bird, and I am very conservative politicallly! And I was even attached to the US Marines a few times. I also fought in Gulf War 1 in my early 40’s. I am an old Royal Marine Commando (over tens years service, I was a mustang.enlisted to officer). And martial arts? I have a black belt (only second degree). How about you? I see that you like some very good men, A. but they mean little right now, as we can see the Anglican Communion growing apostate more daily. I am Anglo-Irish, born in Dublin but educated in England. Then she later went with the PB’s and the so-called ‘Kelly Brethren’. My great-gram (died when I was 15) was baptised by A. Not to forget my favorite guy perhaps E.W. Darby, Kelly, Grant to Scofield and Ryrie, etc. I am quite aware of the whole School of Dispensationalism also. But I am also drawn to the Progressive Dispensationalism. From A-Mill, also Post-Mill (older position), to now the more classic or Historic Premillennialism. But this is really years of personal study and thought. Funny that you should ask, but I have come full circle on my echatological views, and just of late.
